OHS Theatre is proud to announce auditions for our Spring ProductioN: THe Great Gatsby!
Audition Dates: Actors should attend both dates.
February 12 (individual auditions by timeslot) You will have a 5 minute timeslot present your audition monologue. You will be free to leave after you have completed your audition. Sign up at the link below.
February 13 (group auditions) 4:15-7:00pm You will be broken in to pairs/groups and will be given scenes from the play to read & act out aloud. You do not need to memorize anything. Plan to stay for the whole time.
Tech Interviews: February 10 (By timeslot)
Actor Audition Checklist:
- Pick up an audition packet from outside Room 701 (cultural arts wing)…or print one out using the link. (Packets will be available Jan 22)
- Sign up for a timeslot here. (Available Jan 22)
- Prepare your audition monologue. Choose from these monologues.
- Newcomers (never performed at OHS before): you may read from the monologue as you perform.
- Returning Actors: You should memorize the monologue.
- Actors should attend BOTH auditions

- Pick up an tech info sheet & tech interview packet from outside Room 701 (cultural arts wing)…or print one out using the link.
- Sign up for a timeslot here.
- Bring your completed interview packet (with conflict sheet filled out and a parent signature) to your audition.
- Be ready to discuss your interests and any skills you may have (such as power tools, make-up, sewing, sound editing, etc.) No previous theatre experience is required.
