OHS Theatre Society WeBLOG: April 2007 Archives

Well I survived one hellatious weekend. Most of it will go unspoken about from the BLOG stand point. However, thanks to all of those young techies that leant a hand.

The Children's Production was really nice and the crew was great. Let's just say I never have and still am not a fan of the spotlight. We all learned a lot this weekend.

Now I'm just staring down the barrell of 2 days of Community Ballet, 1 more Dance Recital, Man of Lamancha, 2 Choral concerts, and 1 guitar concert. (not to mention every school function in with graduation).

But hey that's why I get the big bucks, right>?!
He laughs to himself...

I'm really excited for Little Women auditions. I have some new tricks up my sleeves for a new era of Opelika High Theatre Society.

First of all thank you for reading it does mean a lot that you may check this for fun or for updates - for whatever reason you check it - I do vow to try and keep it more posted.

I even have had time off and didn't BLOG once about having time off...now that "time" off is over I am trying to squeeze and update onto this thing they call the internet.

FIRST OFF - Let it begin 18 -21 days of events in the OPAC:

MONDAY was OAA Scholarship Auditions - Congrats to Broderick Bridges a graduating Senior actor who recieved $1,000 to help out next year at Birmingham Southern.

TUESDAY the OHS Jazz band played a benefit concert for the kids in ENTERPRISE. I thought that was a very nice gesture.

THURSDAY & FRIDAY - The Auburn University Sympohonic Band is coming to perform their concert.
