Honestly...

My trip to Atlanta last night was really cool.  We need many many many more theatre's like the Atlanta Fox!  People had told me how amazing the inside really was, but I was thoroughly impressed with the structure of the building and design of the interior.  The building itself is a work of art.
As for "The Light" - AMAZING!  I knew I liked it, but to see it live is always a bit more inticing.  I will admit when Margaret turns to go into the church and then turns around and sings a reprise of "The Light in the Piazza" as she turns to go back in an let Clara go for good.  Well let's just say even the 45 year old male in front of me welled up.  Fabrizo stole the show...the young man did a marvelous job-and he had no problem with (1) The Italian and (2) the Tenor range!  Absolutely breathtaking.  The sets were huge, and moved fluidly just like on Broadway and for a road show I was very impressed with that.
If there is any formal complaint it was the use of the Spotlights!  I'm not a big fan of them anyway, and well a majority of the show was face lit with Spots.  Is that a common FOX ATLANTA thing?  If anyone has seen more than 1 show at the Fox can let me know.  It just distracted me a little bit, as I've learned the last job I want to find myself doing in the theatre is running a SPOT-
Promo Poster

That's it for my review....it is in town until Sunday and the drive is not really that bad at all.  In fact I'm making plans to go to the indoor/outdoor theatre again soon...I hope.

As for real life- some of you thought I was kidding about Noises Off--
NO I AM NOT -
The heat is on...we have officially This Wednesday today through next Wednesday the 18th to rehearse.  Then (most likely) the set will come down and stay down until Friday the 24th...leading into the week of the play.  STILL THINK I'm KIDDING.  So we have to get to work and really perfect this monstrocity of a production.
How I feel "time" is going...

 All for now -
